I am an archaeologist and have been guiding people from all over the world for almost 20 years.

One of my great passions are archaeological trekking tours. I am really keen on promoting my splendid land and making the most of its fascinating cultural heritage by creating and offering stimulating tours of natural, historical and cultural interest.

I would love to meet you, to get to know you and to guide you in an archaeological trekking adventure to discover the most important archaeological parks or other less-known scenic pathways of Sicily.

An excellent guided tour with an archaeologist really brought the site to life
Marco was very enthusiastic,and passionate about the Valley of the temples. What was even more impressive was that he actually dug around there so he had first hand knowledge. What an enjoyable way to spend the day at Valley of Temples.

Words can’t say enough about the brilliant tour Marco gave us, his knowledge which imparted to us was outstanding. His drawings were very helpful for us to visualize what it was like in this period. The Museum was outstanding and was please to visited it first as it gave us a better understanding. We would highly recommend Marco.

Excellent Guides from Uncovered Sicily
I recently hired two guides in Sicily for a group of 8 travellers. One (Marco) let a tour of Valley of the Temples and the other (Oreste) a walking tour of Ortigia(Siracusa). Both guides were amazing, knowledgable, interesting, funny and engaged. My group loved both of them. Highly recommendedI recently hired two guides in Sicily for a group of 8 travellers. Operation Husky Tour
We met Marco for a tour of the Operation Husky landing sites at Licata and Gela in September, 2024. Marco's enthusiasm for Sicily's history was infectious! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him touring the area.
