Daniela

I’m an architect with a lot of experience in the field of restoration of monuments, I also taught this subject at the university. I love to travel and am passionate to learn about different countries and their cultures.

I’ve chosen to become a tour guide to share with other travellers the love I have for my land such as architecture, history, nature, food, fine arts, archaeology and also less famous aspects like the ones concerning the Second World War and following the tracks of the Allied landing in Sicily in 1943. I’ll lead you to the discovery of symbolic places for our contemporary history that deserve to be rediscovered and appreciated.

The best tour guides - ever!
With a private group of 16, we were discovering beauties of south-eastern Sicily, each day visiting one, two, even three cities. For two cities, we had a little help from Uncovered Sicily, Sabine guided a half-day tour in Ragusa and Danela guided a half-day tour in Syracusa. Both were extremely professional, open to all our suggestions and I can't praise them enough. If you like more cultural, historical or architectural view, than guides of Uncovered Sicily are the ones you need. Half day stay in Ragusa is enough to see local sights, but take at least one full day, or better two, when visiting Syracusa.

TOUR IN SIRACUSA
