Alice

I am an archaeologist and I have been working for many years in museums as an Educator and Guide in educational and communication programs making archaeology and art more approachable to the general public. I am also very passionate about archaeological field work and scientific research.

I had the opportunity to travel a lot and I have lived, studied and worked in many countries but, at the end, I chose to come back to my own “Wonderland”, Sicily!

I adore my island and I consider a privilege and a mission to share with others all of my enthusiasm and passion for this extraordinary land.

We had a superb tour with Alice. Thank you very much for organizing it for us and at such short notice. Alice was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, funny, great and keen to answer questions, made the temples "come alive and sing”, good English, altogether perfect.

Wonderful trip to Sicily
A major high point of our trip was our tour of the Greek Antiquity Park in Agrigento with Alice leading the way. The breadth and depth of her knowledge is remarkable, and she made it all come to life for us with her lively personality.

Our interactions with Uncovered Sicily were all uniformly professional and friendly. And we couldn't have been more impressed with our Agrigento guide, Alice. A serious and experienced archeologist and scholar, she was exactly (friendly, open and beyond informed) what we hoped for our us and our 19 year old (skeptical) son.

CAME AS STRANGERS, LEFT AS FRIENDS
Alice is a wonderful and kind person. We loved being with her and she made Monreale very special. It was interesting to see the differences in the church in Cefalu and Monreale. Glad we did not miss this.

Nuestras guías muy simpaticas y competentes (Lucrezia y Alice), aprendimos muchisimo de historia y arqueología pero también de la vida de los sicilianos. Si volvemos a Sicilia, seguro que vamos a volver a viajar con Uncovered Sicily

A beautiful and educational sunset tour of the Valley of Temples
Our tour of the Valley of Temples with Alice was terrific. She was knowledgeable and passionate about the history she shared with us. We toured from 6-8 pm and the sunset views through the temples were awe-inspiring. She had a great sense of humor and related well to all four of us in our group. I highly recommend Uncovered Sicily for a private walking tour. If you get Alice as your guide, you will be lucky.
