Ivana

I graduated in Archaeology and participated in many excavations including Mozia, Selinunte and Pantelleria.

I initiated my career as a tour guide in Rome and worked there for many years, but my passion for my land made me return home to Sicily. I am proud of showing off the many beautiful places and telling curious stories to travellers; furthermore, I like to make every tour a little different, so that I feel a traveller myself.

Mozia with Ivana
Really a day with Ivana is completely enjoyable as she is so easy to be with, and she is so personable. But she is also smart, informed, and knowledgeable, and with a passion and love of her turf. Honestly, I can't imagine having seen Mozia with anyone else as I doubt anyone else would have conveyed the same passion and love for that island. It was impossible not to love Mozia because she loves Mozia.

This is a wonderful organisation!
This is a wonderful organisation! We had 3 great tours with them - and the 3 guides we used (Alessandra, Laura and Ivana) were all excellent. Moreover all aspects of the tours - including transfers and meals - were exceptionally well-organised. We will definitely use them again!

Uncovered Sicily è stata una conferma, Ivana una bella e interessante conoscenza. Il pomeriggio del 28 aprile è stato gradito da tutto il gruppo,Ivana è stata un’ottima guida che ha discusso oltre che raccontato circa la storia e l’archeologia del sito. Abbiamo apprezzato anche il fatto che la nostra guida ha progettato il tour, ci ha guidato lungo un percorso ideale oltre che fisico tra le rovine di Selinunte.
