I’m from Augusta, an industrial town with an almost unknown heritage, and my will to rescue this land pushes me to save and enhance it ever since: my university studies and my profession as tour guide are perhaps the proof.
My training? Plenty of hikes aimed to students. From 2006 I guided off-the-beaten-path journeys for youngsters, and since then I have been wandering around Sicily and abroad in Morocco and Turkey. I am interested in the research of ancient production processes and I have published scientific papers about pottery and lime production. I love the quiet and intimate dimension of the deepest canyons, but also diving into the chaotic and colorful humanity of the markets as well. I am passionate about cooking, which I consider a profound aspect of a culture, an expression of love towards the others and yourself.
