Our tour will provide you with an exhaustive view of the Syracusan archaeology starting from the Neapolis Park where we will visit the Greek theatre, the latomies, the altar of Hieron II, and the Roman Amphitheatre. The visit will then proceed with the “Paolo Orsi” Museum in order to discover the major archaeological finds of Syracuse and central-eastern Sicily. Finally, we will visit the island of Ortygia that discloses exceptional Greek, Roman, and Late Antiquity monuments not only among the walls of Medieval and Baroque buildings but also under its basolati (ancient stone paving).
