In the heart of Sicily, among the undulating peaks of the Erean Mountains, we will discover the old town centre of Piazza Armerina and the Roman Villa with its Roman mosaics, listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
Our private cultural tour will begin among the impressive structures of the Roman Villa at Casale which, built between the end of the 3rd century AD and the beginning of the 4th century AD, contains the greatest complex of Roman mosaics in the world (3500 sqm). Then we will reach the historical city centre of Piazza Armerina that boasts interesting monuments and Baroque buildings. We will visit the main square Piazza Garibaldi and then head to Piazza Duomo to visit the beautiful cathedral located on the top of the hill.
