The sound of history between wine and lava

Discovering the breathtaking views of Mount Etna and its surroundings in constant flux: a path that combines the flavours and beauty of a unique area in the world, becoming an unforgettable travel experience.

Our private guided tour will start from Randazzo where we will wander around, drink, and enjoy its medieval atmosphere. We will visit the Norman Church of Santa Maria, with its exquisite masterpieces, Palazzo Lanza, the Church of San Nicolò, which was built in the 14th century, Palazzo Reale, which hosted Swabian and Aragonese sovereigns and the Emperor Charles V, the Church of San Martino, with the most beautiful bell tower of Sicily, and finally the Swabian Castle, which is a square tower that currently houses Vagliasindi Archaeological Museum. A must-see is the “Museum of Music”: a magic place where Master Giuseppe will tell us the history of some medieval instruments. He will also play them to allow us to listen to their peculiar music.

Our last stop will be among RandazzoPassopisciaro and Linguaglossa, where the most refined red wine of Sicily is produced from centenaries-old “Nerello Mascalese” or “Cappuccio” vineyards. We will also visit a winery that has blended the old tradition of Sicilian farmers with wine transalpine experiences. During the last stage of our tour, we will sit around a table to taste wines and delicacies from Etna.
