A dive in history. Randazzo, Bronte and Adrano

Our expert-led private tour will begin in Randazzo, a settlement rich in historical remains, as the Norman Church of Santa Maria, the Palace Lanza, the church of San Nicolò, built in the 14th century, the Palazzo Scala, that hosted the sovereign Swabians, Aragonese and then the Emperor Charles V, the Church of San Martino, and finally the Swabian Castle, a square tower that currently houses the Archaeological Museum Vagliasindi.

The guided tour will continue into the territory of Bronte, where we will visit the Abbey of Maniace, also known as Castle of Nelson, founded by the Normans and transformed into a mansion.

Finally, we will move towards Adrano, a center of ancient foundation as evidenced by the archaeological remains of the area called Mendolito. Here we will admire the remarkable remains of the Norman domination, as the Castle, which now houses the Archaeological Museum. The visit to the Castle will be a time-travel experience thanks to several and precious artefacts and collections useful to rebuilt the history of the territory from prehistory till nowadays.
