I grew up reading the ancient myths, translating the Greek historian Thucidides and dreaming of being an Egyptologist. However, time has taught me that my land of Sicily holds wonderful treasures of a rare beauty.
I’ll tell you about the places, the history, the legends, borrowing the words written by ancient and modern writers, and sharing our sayings and verses so you can live your own adventure and take back home a little piece of our centuries-old culture. My goal is to make you feel ‘Sicilian’ for a while and to show you each extraordinary place from behind the curtain, from the backstage where everything takes shape and where we still work and play.
