Filicudi. Archaeology and landscape itinerary

.It seems that parts of Eden have been preserved on these coasts. A thick maquis characterizes an uncontaminated landscape that both shows unusually beautiful foreshortenings and holds priceless treasures. Expert sailors coming from far away in the Early Bronze Age settled on a vast plain of Filo Braccio. Afterwards, these people called Aeolians (legendary people who gave the island its name) decided to move to the higher Montagnola of Capo Graziano. These two well-preserved sites are easily reachable thanks to breathtakingly beautiful paths. The quarry mill is worth to be visited, too. It is on a rocky bank on the sea and was used until the last century.
